Around the corner from our hotel in Copenhagen was a long stretch of restaurants leading to a plaza of some sort, just a block from the train station. Not wanting to stray far from the 'hood our last evening, Pops and I settled in a little cafe, our decision dictated by his desire for french fries (they didn't turn out to be french fries, but hey.) I struggled with the menu for a bit, ultimately being drawn to the "French Burger," paired with capers, beets, onions, horseradish and a sweet relish with a mustard base. The fresh yolk made it, seeping into the burger and giving each bite a sweeter taste. I am avoiding burgers on this trip, so chances are this will be the king of them all, 'cause it was damn good!
